We're thrilled to announce that Kate Wallace's artwork, Untitled has been acquired by the RMIT Art Collection.

Kate's artwork, Untitled is an outstanding example of the artist's talent and her astute viewpoint. In this delicately scaled painting, Kate reflects her window view from her airplane seat. Although this painting is informed by a photograph, it doesn't direct the viewer to the past, rather it pauses directly in the present, meditating on being exactly where you are, when you are.

The RMIT Art Collection is a dynamic educational resource and an inspiring cultural archive, showcasing some of Australia's finest examples of modern and contemporary art. Over the years the collection has become something of a cultural barometer, demonstrating the evolution of artistic style, thought and technique across decades and generations.
