Two People Never See The Same Rainbow

LON Gallery is delighted to present Two People Never See the Same Rainbow, a group exhibition featuring works by three image based artists, Aaron Rees, Annika Koops and Josephine Mead.

These artists inhabit the challenging territory of image making in the post photographic landscape and share sensitivity to materiality, surface and the malleable nature of photography. Aaron cultivates this by harnessing and disrupting traditional analogue photographic processes, whereas Annika adopts digital technologies and spaces to consider representations of the self. Josephine Mead’s practice adopts the intertwined use of text, language and photography to explore personal notions of support. A sound understanding of the self-reflexivity of images unites these three disparate practices.
