b. 1999, Meanjin/ Brisbane. Lives and works in Meanjin/ Brisbane

A queer artist of Koa, Kuku Yalanji, Meriam Mir and South Sea Islander descent, Williams’ work seeks to dissolve preconceived archetypes of personal and broader identities. With an interdisciplinary approach to practice, he expands his relationships with location, personal histories and cultural plasticity, reconciling a sense of belonging in the ubiquitous, uncanny everyday.

His work is held in public and private collections throughout Australia, including the National Gallery of Victoria, Artbank, Redland Art Gallery and Murdoch University.
